Steps to Request Deletion
To request the permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data, please follow these steps:
- Fill out the data deletion request form at the bottom of this page.
- Ensure you provide the exact email address or phone number associated with your account so we can verify your identity.
- Select the specific app you are requesting deletion for.
- Submit the form. Our support team will process your request within 7-14 business days.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon verifying your request, we will permanently delete the following information from our active databases:
- Profile Information: Name, age, gender, location, and bio.
- Media: All uploaded photos and profile pictures.
- Activity Data: Matches, likes, swipes, and in-app chat history.
- Authentication Data: Usernames and linked social authentication tokens.
What Data is Retained? (Retention Policy)
While your public profile and personal activity will be erased, we may retain certain limited data for legal, security, and administrative purposes:
- Financial Records: If you made in-app purchases, transaction records may be kept for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance.
- Ban Evasion: If your account was terminated for violating our Terms of Service, we may retain a hashed version of your email or device ID to prevent you from creating a new account.
Standard Processing Time: Data is generally purged from active servers within 14 days of your request. Residual copies may remain in secure, encrypted backups for up to 90 days before being automatically overwritten.
